BRICS Summit 2024 in Kazan Russia
BRICS Summit 2024: BRICS summit is being organized in Kazan city of Russia. The plenary session of the BRICS summit has started at the Kazan Expo Centre. Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the leaders at the beginning of the session. In his address, President Vladimir Putin said that more than 30 countries have expressed their desire to join BRICS. He said the group will discuss its expansion at the meeting, while also keeping in mind the need to maintain efficiency.
PM Modi reached Kazan Expo Center
Along with the BRICS conference, the entire world is also keeping an eye on when will the bilateral meeting between PM Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping take place. PM Modi has reached Kazan Expo Center for the BRICS summit.
PM Modi met President Putin
PM Narendra Modi and Russian President Vladimir Putin met on Tuesday before the BRICS Summit in Kazan. During this time both the leaders met each other warmly. PM Modi shook hands with Putin and then hugged him. After this, talks took place between the two leaders on bilateral issues. During the talks, PM Modi also mentioned the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
