Bovina (USA): 7 people died in a bus accident in Mississippi, USA on Saturday morning. While more than 3 dozen people are injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital. It is being told that this accident happened on Interstate Route-20 in Mississippi when a bus tire burst. After this, the bus lost its balance and overturned into a ditch. 7 people died due to the bus overturning, while 37 others were injured.
Mississippi Highway Patrol gave this information. According to a press release, 6 passengers died on the spot while another died in the hospital. The bus slipped off the highway near Bovina in Warren County and overturned. The National Transportation Safety Board said in a post on the social media platform ‘X’ that the accident occurred due to a tire burst. Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey said the dead included a six-year-old boy and his 16-year-old sister. Both were identified by their mother. He said that officials are trying to identify the other dead. According to the release, 37 passengers were taken to hospitals in Vicksburg and Jackson. (AP)
