This grand plan has now come to the fore after two days of meeting between Ajit Doval and several top US officials. Under this, cooperation in the military industries of both the countries will increase. Along with this, coordination regarding operations in the Indian Pacific region will increase. The US President’s Office White House said that an agreement has been reached between the two countries on the development of military ammunition ranging from jet engines. India uses the engines of America’s company GE for its indigenous fighter jet Tejas.

After this agreement, now GE company can manufacture these engines in India only. Apart from this, India and the US will work on increasing the capability of maritime security, surveillance and espionage to closely monitor China in the sea. US Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks told the Indian National Security Advisor that alliance building and partnerships are a top priority for the Pentagon. This, he said, comes at a time when the strategic environment in the region is becoming very challenging.
Hicks said that coalition building was a major goal of the US in the 2022 National Defense Strategy. In this, China was increasingly termed as a rapidly growing threat in many areas. China is showing bullying from Taiwan to Ladakh. To deal with China, the Quad organization has been formed under the leadership of America, of which India is also a member. The US, India, Japan and Australia have become more active in recent years to contain China’s territorial claims.

India’s dependence on Russia will reduce
India wants to work with America on artificial intelligence, quantum technology and state-of-the-art wireless systems so that its dependence on China ends and it will be easier to deal with the dragon crisis in future. Apart from this, an agreement for the manufacture of semiconductors in India was also negotiated between India and America. It requires educated and skilled workforce to master the manufacturing of its goods. Apart from this, both countries will cooperate in developing next generation telecommunication technology including 5G, 6G.
Apart from this, both countries will also cooperate in space. America will also help India in preparing astronauts, commercial use of space and defense against any attack from space. This move by America will not only help India deal with China but also reduce dependence on Russia. Russia has now become a junior partner of India’s enemy China after the Ukraine war. Apart from this, Russia is also not able to supply weapons at the right time. In such a situation, it may be difficult for India to protect itself in the attack of China. America also wants India to reduce its dependence on arms from Russia.
