Israel is continuously bombing Gaza.

United Nations: The United Nations has said that after 3 months of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, the situation in Gaza has become so bad that this place is no longer habitable. UN Under-Secretary for Humanitarian Affairs Martin Griffiths said this on Friday and also warned that there is a danger of starvation in Gaza and an epidemic-like situation may arise there. Let us tell you that after the attack by Hamas terrorists in Israel on October 7, more than 20 thousand people have lost their lives in the retaliatory action taken by the Israeli Army.

‘Many families forced to sleep in the open’

Assessing the devastating effects of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, Griffiths said Gaza’s 2.3 million people face “daily existential threats” while the world watches. He said that thousands of people have been killed or injured in this war so far, most of whom are women and children. The official said many families are forced to sleep in the open as temperatures drop in Gaza, and areas where Palestinians were told to leave have also been bombed.

‘Too many patients in some hospitals’

Martin Griffiths said: ‘People in Gaza are facing the highest levels of food insecurity ever and are at risk of starvation. Gaza is no longer livable. He said that the number of patients in some partially operational hospitals in Gaza is very high and the supply of medical supplies and medicines has been severely affected. Meanwhile, hospitals are under continuous attack and infectious diseases are spreading. Amid this chaos, approximately 180 Palestinian women go into labor every day.

Signs of devastation are visible everywhere in Gaza.

’85 percent of Gaza’s people displaced’

Griffiths reiterated the UN’s call for an immediate end to the war and the release of all hostages, saying it is time for the international community to do everything possible to end this fighting. The Israel-Hamas war has already displaced 85 percent of Gaza’s 2.3 million population, leaving the region’s northern area desolate. The risk of displacement in the south has also increased due to increased Israeli air and ground attacks. Palestinian citizens no longer find any place safe.

Hamas had killed 1200 Israelis

Let us tell you that in the October 7 attack in Israel, apart from killing about 1200 people, Hamas had kidnapped about 240 people. Israel has pledged to continue fighting until Hamas is eliminated and removed from power in Gaza and all hostages are freed. Israel has rejected the international appeal for ceasefire, saying that doing so would be considered a victory for Hamas.
