Rafah: At least 67 people were killed in Gaza due to Israeli attacks in the last 24 hours amid dashed hopes of a ceasefire on the occasion of Ramadan. With no end in sight to the war, Palestinians in Gaza began fasting on Monday to mark the beginning of the month of Ramadan.

More than 31 thousand deaths so far

The humanitarian crisis is continuously deepening due to Israeli attacks in Palestine. The US, Qatar and Egypt had hoped to reach a ceasefire agreement before Ramadan that would allow the exchange of Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza, but talks regarding this agreement stalled last week. . Gaza’s Health Ministry said that the bodies of 67 people killed in Israeli attacks were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of Palestinians killed since the start of the war to more than 31,112. The ministry did not give its count of how many civilians had been killed and how many fighters had died, but it said two-thirds of the dead included women and children.

War continues between the two countries
