Pyeongpang: North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has once again become a synonym for terror in the world with his shocking actions. According to a report by South Korean Chosun TV, Kim Jong has hanged 30 of his officials, calling the deaths in the recent deadly floods in North Korea intolerable. Chosun TV has given this sensational report quoting a North Korean official on the condition of anonymity.
According to South Korean media, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reportedly ordered the execution of about 30 officials for their alleged failure to prevent massive floods and landslides this summer. It is being said that the failure of these officials in North Korea led to the death of about 4,000 people. South Korea’s Chosun TV, citing an unnamed North Korean official, revealed that Kim Jong Un had demanded “severe punishment” for those responsible for the “unacceptable loss of life” caused by the recent floods. The officials, who faced charges of corruption and negligence, were reportedly all hanged late last month.
All the officers were hanged at the same time.
According to media reports, all about 30 officers were hanged at once on the orders of Kim Jong. The identity of the officers killed on the orders of Kim Jong has not been disclosed. The North Korea Central News Agency (KCNA) reported that Kang Bong-hoon, who was serving as the secretary of the Chagang Province Provincial Party Committee since 2019, was one of those who were removed from his post. In July, heavy rainfall caused massive landslides and floods across North Korea. Kim Jong Un personally visited the devastated areas and admitted that it would take several months to rebuild areas that were completely submerged by the floods. The government also provided temporary shelter in Pyongyang facilities for 15,400 individuals, including vulnerable groups such as mothers, children, the elderly and disabled soldiers. However, this has been denied by North Korea.
