The slain jawans were members of the patrolling group. So far no terrorist group has claimed responsibility for the attack. The slain soldiers have been identified as Sher Ahmed, Mohd Asgar, Mohd Irfan and Abdur Rasheed. Pakistan and Iran share a 900 km long border. There have been many incidents related to security in the past as well. However, most of the insurgents of the Balochistan Liberation Army in these areas have been carrying out attacks here. Earlier, 13 people were injured in the blast in January.
