Terrorists have created a great havoc in Pakistan. Armed terrorists have killed at least 40 people in separate attacks in the troubled Balochistan province on Monday. The shocking thing is that the gunmen killed Punjabi passengers after taking them off the buses and checking their identity cards. Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed grief over this incident and has said that the terrorists responsible for this incident should be given severe punishment.
23 people of Punjab were selectively killed
The first incident of terror has taken place in Musakhel district of Balochistan. Here about 10 armed attackers shot dead at least 23 people from Punjab province. According to information, the terrorists asked the passengers to get off the buses and shot them dead after seeing their national identity cards. Most of the dead are from southern Punjab and some are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
11 killed in Kalat and 6 in Bolan
The second attack took place in Balochistan’s Kalat district where gunmen killed at least 11 people, including four police officers. Kalat is located about 150 kilometers south of Balochistan’s capital Quetta and this area is dominated by Baloch tribes. The third attack took place in Pakistan’s Bolan where 6 people were shot dead.
Why were Punjabis targeted?
In fact, Baloch separatists regularly target people from Punjab province. They allege that Punjabis dominate the armed forces fighting terrorists in the province. Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the incident and said that the terrorists responsible for this incident will be severely punished. Any kind of terrorism is not acceptable in the country. (input language)
