PM Modi did another great feat in Europe, Poland which was the troubleshooter of Indians in Ukraine war is now India’s strategic partner – Hindustan News Hub

Warsaw: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has once again proved his foreign policy worth in Europe. Amid the Russia-Ukraine war, a strategic partnership has been announced between India and Poland. This means that Poland will now be India’s strategic partner. This is the same Poland which helped India the most in evacuating thousands of Indian citizens and students trapped there from the war zone at the beginning of the Ukraine war. That is why when PM Modi reached Poland, he praised the government of this country and the people there.

PM Modi told Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, “You have been a good friend of India for a long time. You have contributed a lot in strengthening the friendship between India and Poland. Today is a special day in the relations between India and Poland. Today, after 45 years, an Indian Prime Minister has visited Poland. I have got this privilege at the beginning of my third term. On this occasion, I express my special gratitude to the Government of Poland and the people here.

Hope expressed for safe evacuation of Indian students

PM Modi thanked Poland for evacuating Indian students stranded in the midst of the fierce war between Russia and Ukraine during the Ukraine crisis in the year 2022. The Prime Minister said that we Indians can never forget the generosity you showed in getting the Indians out of the crisis. ” Along with this, he announced to make Poland a strategic partner of India. The strategic partnership between India and Poland is the biggest living example of India’s strong foreign policy changing. It is also important that India has announced its strategic partnership with this European country at a time when a fierce war is going on between Russia and Ukraine and India is trying to mediate to bring peace between the two countries. India is moving forward with its new thinking of equal relationship with everyone.

Reforms in the United Nations were called the need of the hour

During his Poland visit, Prime Minister Modi also said that India and Poland agree that reforms in the United Nations and other world institutions are the need of the hour to deal with global challenges. Let us tell you that India has been demanding reforms in the United Nations Security Council for a long time. India is the biggest and strongest contender to become its permanent member. Poland has been a supporter of India’s claim. The relationship between India and Poland is now going to turn into a strategic partnership. PM Modi said that this decision has been taken.
