Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that China, India and Brazil could play the role of mediators in possible peace talks on Ukraine. Putin said that an initial agreement reached between Russian and Ukrainian negotiators during talks in Istanbul in the first week of the war, which was never implemented, could become the basis for talks.
