Houston: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reached America today on a 3-day visit. During this, other Congress leaders and supporters including Sam Pitroda welcomed him there. Rahul Gandhi, who often attacks the Modi government abroad, has made a big statement after reaching America. This time he has given his first statement on the relations between the two countries. Rahul said that he will have “meaningful and in-depth discussions” to further strengthen the relations between India and America. Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul said in a post on Facebook, “Indian immigrants and members of the Indian Overseas Congress welcomed me warmly in Dallas, Texas, USA, which I am really very happy about.”
Sharing some pictures of his arrival in the US, Rahul said, “I am looking forward to engaging in meaningful discussions and in-depth conversations during this visit, which will further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.” At the same time, the Congress party said in a post on ‘X’ that Rahul was welcomed “warmly and enthusiastically” at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport. Indian Overseas Congress President Sam Pitroda had said last week that Rahul is not coming to the US on an official visit, but during this time he will get a chance to interact with various people ‘personally’ at Capitol Hill (US Parliament House).
Rahul Gandhi will be in America from 8 to 10 September
Pitroda had said, “Rahul will interact with journalists at the National Press Club, he will meet people from think tanks and will address people at Georgetown University, which is equally important in Washington.” Rahul will be on a visit to America from September 8 to 10. This is his first visit to America after assuming the post of Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha. During this, he will interact with people at Georgetown University and Texas University as well as hold many important meetings in Washington and Dallas. (Language)
