He will visit America before the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to New York. According to Sam, “Lok Sabha opposition leader Rahul Gandhi will visit America from 8 to 10 September.” He said, “Ever since Rahul Gandhi became the opposition leader, as the President of Indian Overseas Congress which has a presence in 32 countries, I have been bombarded with requests for Rahul from Indian expatriate diplomats, academics, businessmen, leaders, international media and many others.
Other people want to talk to Rahul Gandhi. That is why everyone likes to invite him to their place. Pitroda said that he is coming to America for a very brief visit. He will be in Dallas on 8th September and will be in Washington DC on 9th and 10th September. During this time Rahul Gandhi will talk to students, academicians and community people of Dallas University and Texas. Pitroda said that we will hold a very big community gathering here. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a big program to address Indians in New York on 23rd September.
