Nepal Rain and Flood
Kathmandu: International agency World Weather Attribution has stressed the urgent need to limit development activities in low-lying, riverside areas of cities in Nepal and enhance early warning systems and rapid action to avoid recurrence of flood disasters. The organization concluded in its recently published report that “Climate change is responsible for three days of heavy rains in Nepal.” Heavy rains in Nepal in late September resulted in flash floods and landslides.
