Russia-Ukraine War: Rishi Sunak made his first visit to Ukraine after becoming the Prime Minister of Britain. During this he met President Volodymyr Zelensky. Rishi Sunak assured Zelensky of the UK’s continued support. Sunak tweeted, “Britain knows what it means to fight for freedom.” Britain’s PM told Zelensky, “We are with you all the way.”

A video of the meeting was posted on UK PM Rishi Sunak’s Twitter account, in which he is shown shaking hands with the Ukrainian leader in Kyiv. During this, Zelensky asked the Prime Minister – “How are you?” In the video, both are shown shaking hands in front of the flag of the Union and the flag of Ukraine.
