Sultan of Oman came to India, China-Pakistan in tension; Know what PM Modi talked to Haitham bin Tariq

India’s relations with Arab, Gulf and Muslim countries are continuously gaining new strength. This is giving sleepless nights to India’s enemies. Meanwhile, relations between India and Oman are also on a new path. The Sultan of Oman is in Delhi these days and met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday. Seeing the strengthening of relations between countries like Oman with India, Pakistan and China are worried. While China is seeing its trade faltering and India’s hold is getting stronger in Arab, Gulf and Muslim countries, Pakistan is not getting any significant lift from these countries despite raising the issue of religion.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held talks with Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman and discussed enhancing bilateral cooperation in various fields including trade and investment. The Sultan of Oman arrived in Delhi on Friday on a state visit, his first visit to India as the Gulf country’s top leader. Talks held on future cooperation between India and Oman

PM Modi said, “The agenda includes taking stock of bilateral relations and paving the way for future cooperation between the two countries.” Sultan bin Tariq was given a ceremonial welcome in the courtyard of Rashtrapati Bhavan in the morning. Announcing the visit of the Sultan of Oman earlier this week, the Ministry of External Affairs had said, ‚ÄúThis first state visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq to India is an important milestone in the diplomatic relations between India and the Sultanate of Oman. ”India and the Sultanate of Oman are strategic partners and bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries have grown over the years.
