Dubai: There has been a stir in Tehran after the killing of Hezbollah Chief Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah. After this incident, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei has been shifted to a safe place. Let us tell you that earlier in Iran itself, Hamas Chief Ismail Haniya was also allegedly killed by Israel in Tehran. Now after the killing of Hezbollah Chief, the Supreme Leader of Iran has also started considering himself unsafe.

Iran is on edge after Israel announced Friday it had killed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in an attack on south Beirut, sources said. Iran is in constant contact with Lebanon’s Hezbollah and other regional proxy groups to determine next steps. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has been moved to a secure location inside the country under tight security measures, two regional officials briefed by Tehran told Reuters.

Hezbollah killed in Israeli attack

The Israeli military claimed Saturday to have killed Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in an attack Friday in Beirut. The military said Hezbollah’s leadership was meeting at its headquarters in Dahiyeh, south of Beirut, when the precision airstrike was carried out. The Israeli military said Hezbollah’s southern front commander Ali Karki and other commanders were also killed in the attack. Earlier, the army had said that it targeted Nasrallah and attacked Hezbollah’s central headquarters in Beirut on Friday, where several high-rise buildings were demolished in a series of massive explosions.

Lebanese Ministry of Health

Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least six people were killed and 91 others were injured in the attack. Nasrallah had led Hezbollah for more than three decades. Hezbollah has not yet commented on Nasrallah’s killing. Israel continued fierce airstrikes against Hezbollah on Saturday, and the extremist organization also fired dozens of rockets toward Israel. The Israeli military said it was deploying additional reserve troops amid escalating tensions with Lebanon. The army said on Saturday morning that it was activating three battalions of reserve soldiers. Earlier in the week, two battalions were sent to northern Israel for training in preparation for a possible ground invasion. Israeli forces launched several attacks on southern Beirut and the Bekaa Valley in eastern Lebanon on Saturday morning.

Israel has been carrying out major attacks for several days

On Saturday, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at northern and central Israel and the Israeli-occupied West Bank. A plume of smoke hung in the sky following Israeli air strikes overnight in Beirut’s southern suburbs. Crowds of people gathered at the shelters set up for the displaced people in the city. Many people slept in squares, on beaches or in their cars. Hundreds of people were seen fleeing on foot on roads leading into the mountains above the capital, many with infants in their arms and essential items in their hands. Lebanon’s Health Ministry said at least six people were killed and 91 others were injured in the attack.
