PM Modi wrote that he had a very good conversation with my friend President Donald Trump. Congratulated him on his wonderful victory. Look forward to working together once again to further strengthen India-US relations in technology, defence, energy, space and many other areas.
Earlier in the afternoon, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made a post on his social media account X congratulating Trump for his historic victory. Soon after Trump was declared victorious, PM Modi wrote in a post on social media platform X, ‘Hearty congratulations my friend Donald Trump on your historic election victory. You are going to carry forward the successes of your previous tenure. I look forward to further strengthening the India-US Comprehensive Global and Strategic Partnership and renewing our cooperation. Let us work together for the well-being of our people and to promote global peace, stability and prosperity.
