This was not the first time Biden had made a mistake while speaking in public. Earlier he had mentioned Kamala Harris as ‘First Lady’. Biden was explaining to the audience why Harris’s husband, Doug Emhoff, who was suffering from COVID-19, was absent at an “Equal Pay Day” event hosted by the White House.
