Beijing: When Pakistan, which is known as the protector of terrorists, started burning in the fire of terrorism, its friend China also got worried. China, which once vetoed the ban on terrorists in the United Nations, is now talking about fighting terrorism. Let us tell you that China has many times vetoed the proposal of America and India to take international action against Pakistani terrorists. But now the same China is troubled by the terrorist attacks on Pakistan. China on Thursday condemned the attack by Baloch militants on Pakistan’s Gwadar port and said Beijing firmly supports Islamabad’s efforts to fight terrorism and safeguard national security.

Let us tell you that eight Baloch militants who were trying to enter the Gwadar Port Authority complex in Pakistan’s restive Balochistan province were killed on Wednesday. Giving this information, Pak Army said on Thursday that two army soldiers have also died in the operation. The port complex houses several government and paramilitary offices and is strategically located at Gwadar Port, part of the billion-dollar China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.

Chinese Foreign Ministry said this

“We have seen the news and we strongly condemn the terrorist attack and express our condolences over the loss of Pakistani soldiers in the attack,” Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a media briefing here. China is against all forms of terrorism and strongly supports the national development and social stability of Pakistan. “We strongly support Pakistan’s efforts to fight terrorism and safeguard its national security and stability,” Jian said. A release issued by the army’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said a group of militants tried to enter the Port Authority Complex Colony on Wednesday, but were successfully stopped by security forces. Stopped it. A release issued late on Wednesday night said that the troops deployed there effectively stopped the militants, following which an encounter began in which all eight terrorists were killed. It said that two soldiers have also been killed in the encounter.

Why is China worried?

Baloch insurgent groups have carried out several attacks on Pakistan in the past, targeting the US$60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. BLA opposes China’s investment in Balochistan. He accuses China and Pakistan of exploiting the resource-rich province. Thousands of Chinese citizens are working in Pakistan in many projects under CPEC. China is troubled by this. The attack on the Gwadar Port Authority complex came a day after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had said that his government would not tolerate any act of cross-border terrorism. (Language)
