Delhi University College Changes Attendance Rule: Shaheed Bhagat Singh College of Delhi University has made some major changes in the rules regarding attendance. Under this, candidates will not be allowed to appear in the examination if their attendance is less than a certain percentage. These rules are not only different according to the semester but also according to the percentage of fellows. Like how many papers will be given depending on what percentage of attendance is there. Similarly, if the attendance is less than a certain percentage, you will not be allowed to appear in the examination. Let us know in detail.

The rule of 40 percent attendance has changed

Let us tell you that earlier there was a rule in Shaheed Bhagat Singh College according to which students did not get a chance to appear in the examination if their attendance was less than 40 percent. It has been reduced to ten percent. That is, now only if the attendance of a student is less than ten percent, he will not be allowed to appear in the exam.

What percentage of which papers will be missed?

According to media reports, students whose attendance is between 40 to 66 percent will not face any problem. However, they will have to give an affidavit that they will not do this in the next semester and will come to the college for such number of days that the average attendance of both the semesters together becomes equal. Similarly, students of Semester 5 can appear for the exam but in Semester 6, they will have to complete at least 90% attendance.

Will have to give an affidavit

If the attendance is 30 to 39.99 percent then one AEC paper will not be allowed. If the attendance is 20 to 29.99 percent then two papers, one AEC and the other DSE or GE paper will not be allowed. With 10 to 19.00 percent attendance, three papers will not be allowed, they are AEC, DSE or GE and one core subject paper. If there is 1 to 9.99 percent attendance then no paper will be allowed.
