8 Lok Sabha employees suspended in Parliament security lapse, Speaker orders inquiry

New Delhi: The Lok Sabha Secretariat has suspended seven employees in the case of two people who breached the security arrangements of the Parliament and jumped into the House during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha. Along with this, the Lok Sabha Speaker has ordered an investigation into the matter. According to the information received, 8 people associated with the Parliament House security staff have been suspended. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh told the opposition MPs who were creating ruckus in the House that the Speaker has ordered an investigation into the matter.

The blame fell on these employees

The names of the employees working in Lok Sabha who were suspended include Rampal, Arvind, Veer Das, Ganesh, Anil, Pradeep, Vimit and Narendra. The responsibility of all these employees was the security of the Parliament but they failed in it.

Rajnath came forward on behalf of the government

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in the Lok Sabha that the incident that happened yesterday has been condemned by everyone. This is a very unfortunate incident. The Lok Sabha Speaker has ordered an investigation into the incident. All of us MPs need to be careful. It is not appropriate to create a chaotic situation in Parliament in this way.

Two people had jumped inside the House from the audience gallery.

Let us tell you that on Wednesday, the anniversary of the 2001 terrorist attack on Parliament, a major incident of breach in security came to light when during the proceedings of the Lok Sabha, two people jumped inside the House from the audience gallery and attacked the Parliament with yellow flags using ‘canes’. Spread colored smoke. Both were caught immediately after the incident. Shortly after this incident, a man and a woman were arrested for protesting outside the Parliament House with ‘canes’ that emit yellow and red smoke.

Accused identified

The two persons who jumped into the house have been identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan D. The two people arrested from outside the Parliament House have been identified as Neelam (42), a resident of village Ghaso Khurd in Jind district of Haryana, and Amol Shinde (25), a resident of Latur (Maharashtra).
