‘Chandu Champion’ is directed by Kabir Khan. This is the first time that Kartik Aryan is working with the filmmaker who is popular among people for projects like ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ’83’. The film is being produced under Sajid Nadiadwala’s banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.

‘Chandu Champion’ is the story of a player and his never-say-die attitude. This film is inspired by Murlikant Petkar. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput was reportedly chosen to play the role of Petkar after the success of ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’. However, after his untimely demise the makers decided to cast Kartik Aryan for the role.
