In her post, Simran detailed how things took a turn for the worse during her darshan. While she was in the queue, her mother who was standing behind her started making a video of her with her phone. However, an employee snatched the phone from her mother’s hand and pushed her when she tried to take it back. Simran claimed that she was also treated very badly during the altercation. Simran shared a video of the incident on Instagram, in which she is seen arguing with a female bouncer while her mother tries to pull her away.

Simran Budhrup accused the bouncer

Expressing her disappointment, Simran wrote on her social media post, ‘My experience of visiting Lalbaug Cha Raja has been quite disappointing. Today, I went to Lalbaug Cha Raja with my mother to seek blessings, but the bad behaviour of the staff spoiled our experience. A person from the organization snatched my mother’s phone while clicking a picture and when we tried to take the phone back, the bouncer misbehaved and pushed my mother. I tried to stop them and the bouncers misbehaved with me too. When I started recording their behaviour, they tried to snatch my phone too. When they came to know that I am an actress, they backed off.’ The job of the bouncer is to protect us and not to scuffle with anyone like this.

Harming devotees is wrong

Simran Budhrup further wrote in her post, ‘People come to such places with good intentions in search of positivity and blessings. Instead, we faced aggression and disrespect. I understand that managing the crowd is challenging, but it is the responsibility of the staff to maintain order without misbehaving or harming the devotees. I am sharing this to draw attention to the issue and hope that this event will serve as a warning to the organizers and staff to treat visitors with respect and dignity. Let us work together to create a safer, more positive environment for all.’
