‘Bigg Boss 16’ fame Shiv Thackeray and Abdu Rozic are facing a lot of trouble. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had recently summoned and interrogated actor and ‘Bigg Boss 16’ contestant Shiv Thackeray in an alleged money laundering case involving alleged drug mafia Ali Asghar Shirazi. Shiva’s statement was recorded as a witness in this case. ED has asked his ‘Bigg Boss 16’ co-contestant Abdu Rojik to appear in this case.
How did the names of Shiv Thackeray and Abdu come about?
It was reported that Ali Asghar Shirazi had founded Hustlers Hospitality Pvt Ltd, which provided funding to many startups including Shiv Thackeray and Abdu Rozik. The company apparently made money through narco-funding in several startup projects, including Thackeray Teas and Snacks (a food brand and restaurant). Let us tell you, its owner is Shiv Thackeray.
Last year Abdu had started ‘Burgir’
Abdu Rozic launches burger brand ‘Burgir’ in partnership with Hustlers Hospitality through Hustlers. Ali Asghar Shirazi reportedly made substantial investments in Burgir. According to sources, both Shiv and Abdu have ended their relationship after knowing about Ali Asghar Shirazi’s alleged involvement in narco business. Earlier in the year 2023, Abdu had opened his burger restaurant in Mumbai. Many celebs including Sonu Sood attended its inauguration ceremony.

According to sources, in his statement to ED, Shiv Thackeray revealed that in the year 2022-23, he had met Krunal Ojha, director of Hustlers Hospitality, through someone. Krunal offered him a partnership deal for Thackeray Tea and Snacks. As per the contract, Hustlers Hospitality invested a substantial amount in Thackeray Tea & Snacks.
