Film industry veteran stunt master Jolly Bastian passed away at his residence in Bengaluru on Tuesday night. The reason for his death is also said to be heart attack. It is being told that the stunt master died at home due to a heart attack. His age was 57 years. Jolly had worked in more than 900 Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films and made her own identity through this work.

Veterans of the southern film industry have condoled his demise. Born in Alleppey, Kerala, Jolly Bastian was brought up in Bengaluru. He started his film career from Kannada film industry. While performing stunts on a bike, Jolly Bastian was spotted by famous filmmaker and hero V. Ravichandran and was impressed by his talent. Only after this he offered work to Jolly, after which he started working as a stunt double. He worked as a stunt master in most of Ravichandran’s films.

Jolly Bastian was originally a bike mechanic. Jolly, who started his journey by making bikes, became a top stunt master in the film industry. He made his debut as a director in the year 2009 with the film ‘Ninagagi Kadiruve’. Jolly Bastian also directed stunts for KGF fame superstar Yash’s ‘Masterpiece’. Apart from this, he had also been directing stunts for many Kannada films. Jolly Bastian also contributed to Kannada star and director Duniya Vijay’s film ‘Bheema’.
