Obesity affects every part of the body, if ignored can lead to fatal diseases.

Due to irregular daily routine and change in eating habits, most of the people are becoming victims of obesity today. Nowadays, even at young age, people are falling victim to serious diseases due to obesity. Obesity can have serious consequences on the respiratory system, digestive system, cardiovascular system, mental health, reproductive system as well as hormones. 

Stroke risk

Due to increasing obesity, blood circulation in the body gets affected. If blood flow to the brain is disrupted due to obesity, it also increases the risk of stroke. Apart from this, there may be problems related to the nervous system in the body. Neurological problems may increase in the body. If fat accumulates around the neck due to increasing obesity, the airway may become smaller. In such a situation, the patient may have trouble breathing while sleeping at night. This can cause the problem of sleep apnea. 

Problems related to digestion

Obesity also increases the risk of gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). This problem occurs when the acid level in the stomach becomes unbalanced. Apart from this, the risk of gallstones also increases due to obesity. When fat accumulates around the liver due to obesity, it can cause damage to the liver and lead to diseases like fatty liver/liver cirrhosis. Liver is called the power house of our body. If the liver does not function properly due to increasing obesity, the person may feel tired. 

Risk of heart attack may increase

Due to obesity the blood circulation of the body gets affected. Heart related problems may occur due to high BP or hypertension. People who suffer from obesity have to face more heart related problems. 

Problem of diabetes 

Obesity also affects the production of insulin in the body. Due to obesity, pressure on the pancreas gland increases. Due to lack of increase in insulin hormone, the problem of diabetes occurs and the sugar level in the body starts increasing. Diabetes can also cause many other diseases. Decrease in testosterone level in women due to obesity can also cause many problems during pregnancy. Apart from this, obesity also causes bone related problems like osteoporosis, back pain, joint pain. Obesity also has a negative impact on depression and mental health.

Due to obesity, the problem of PCOD (Poly Cystic Ovarian Disease) is big in women, and it is a main cause of infertility in 70 to 80% women.

Prevention and Prevention:
It is very important to take positive steps to prevent and prevent obesity. Adopting a healthy diet, regular exercise and a healthy lifestyle can help prevent obesity in the younger generation. With the increase in obesity, the problem of infertility is also being seen in many people. With the increase in weight in women, hormonal changes start taking place, due to which the problem of infertility is seen in them.
