Should one travel every day during pregnancy or not? Know the answer from experts

Similarly, traveling should be avoided in the last few weeks, because weight gain can cause difficulty in walking.

Pay attention while traveling during pregnancy

1. Wear only flat and comfortable slippers while travelling. Avoid walking wearing high heels. Due to this there is a fear of loss of balance.

2. Wear a mask if you go on a journey. The risk of infection increases in crowded places. Therefore, travel only wearing a mask. Don’t forget to sanitize your hands.

3. While travelling, keep a water bottle and food items with you.

4. Avoid walking in any wet place. Avoid going on slippery floors.

5. During pregnancy, one should go by lift instead of stairs, because there is a fear of losing balance on the stairs.

6. If you feel uncomfortable on any day, you should avoid traveling on that day.

7. Avoid traveling in the last months of pregnancy. Because, increasing weight can cause problems like shortness of breath or loss of balance.

8. Go on long distance travel only after doctor’s advice.

9. Keep medicines with you during travelling.
