Vitamin D Deficiency: For the body to function properly, adequate amounts of vitamins and minerals including proteins are required. Vegetarian people can consume mushrooms to get the supply of Vitamin D. The body can get adequate amounts of selenium, vitamin C and folate from mushrooms. 7IU Vitamin D is found in 100 grams of mushroom only. Consuming it regularly has many benefits.

Vitamin D is found in abundance in oranges and bananas. Apart from this, deficiency of this vitamin can also be overcome by spinach, cabbage, soybean, beans and some types of dry fruits. By consuming them regularly, the body gets adequate amount of Vitamin D in winter.
