Ghee is easily available in the kitchen of every house. From roti, parathas to laddus, khichdi, we add ghee on top of everything. Ghee contains vitamins and antioxidants, which are beneficial for skin, hair and bones. Ghee contains Vitamin A, D, E, and many nutrients, which helps in giving energy to the body and maintaining physical balance. 

Disadvantages of Ghee 

Ghee is not only beneficial for health, but it also has many disadvantages. Due to high fat and cholesterol in ghee, it can be harmful for the heart. Apart from this, women should avoid eating ghee during pregnancy. If your weight increases a lot during pregnancy, then do not consume ghee at all. To stay healthy, we should eat at least 4 to 5 spoons of ghee in a day. If you consume more than this, the chances of getting diseases increases. 

Ghee is dangerous for these people 

Fever, cold at the time of change in weather. Cough has become common. In such a situation, if someone has fever, he should also avoid eating ghee.  Excessive consumption of ghee causes many disadvantages. According to doctors, consumption of ghee can be dangerous for people who are affected by high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, obesity, or other problems. 

Harmful for health

In addition, ghee contains high amounts of lipids and cholesterol, which can be harmful to the health of any person. According to the information, one spoon of ghee contains 8 grams of fat and 33 grams of cholesterol. Consuming excess amount of ghee can lead to diseases like heart attack, heart disease, weight gain, diabetes, digestion, cancer etc.  Avoid consuming too much ghee and keep your health healthy.
