Corona graph increasing in India
Corona virus cases are continuously increasing in the country. 702 new cases of Covid-19 have been registered in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of active Corona patients across the country increased to 4,097. Latest figures have been released by the Health Ministry. Apart from this, six people have died due to Corona virus infection in the last 24 hours. According to the data released by the Health Ministry, in the last 24 hours, two patients have died due to Covid-19 in Maharashtra, while one each in Karnataka, Kerala, West Bengal and Delhi.
Cases of new variants of Corona
At the same time, the cases of new variant of corona virus have increased to 110 across the country. 36 cases were reported in Gujarat, 34 in Karnataka, 14 in Goa, 9 in Maharashtra, 6 in Kerala, 4 each in Rajasthan and Tamil Nadu, 2 in Telangana and 1 in Delhi. Most of the patients are currently in quarantine at home. 529 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in the country on Wednesday.
More than 5.3 lakh deaths so far
752 new cases of infection were registered in the country on December 22. Due to cold and new variants of Corona virus, cases of infection have increased in recent times. Earlier, by December 5, the number of daily cases had come down to double digits. In the four years since the beginning of 2020, more than 4.5 crore people have been infected with Corona virus across the country and it has resulted in more than 5.3 lakh deaths. According to the Health Ministry website, the number of people recovering from the infection has increased to 4.4 crore. The national recovery rate is 98.81 percent.
