Lady don Kajal Khatri, who got Air India crew member Suraj Mann killed eight months ago in Noida Sector-104, has now been arrested by the police. Before becoming a lady don, Kajal was a promising student. She has not only done graduation from Delhi’s Hansraj College, but also studied nursing from a college in Hisar. After this, she met gangster Kapil Mann and their friendship turned into love and later they got married. After gangster husband Kapil Mann went to jail, Kajal took over the command of his gang. She got Suraj Mann killed on Kapil’s orders. During police interrogation, Kajal has given many important information to the police.
Three miscreants on a bike shot dead Suraj Mann, younger brother of gangster Pravesh Mann and Air India crew member, while he was sitting in a car in Sector 104 on January 19 this year. In this case, the Delhi Police Crime Branch team arrested gangster Kapil Mann’s wife Kajal Khatri on Wednesday morning.
On transit remand, Kajal Khatri told Noida police that she is Kapil Mann’s wife. She met Kapil Mann in a gym in Delhi in 2016. She married him in 2019. After marriage, she also started supporting Kapil. Kapil went to jail shortly after marriage. After he went to jail, Kajal took over the command of the gang.
Everything from finance to hiring henchmen, arranging murders, getting people beaten up, extortion and threats started happening at Kajal’s behest. However, before doing any work, Kajal would go to the jail and take consent from Kapil through the Signal app.
ADCP Manish Kumar Mishra said that Kajal’s role was the most important in the murder of Suraj Maan. She was the one who delivered the money to the shooters. Kajal had also visited the location once before the murder. Kapil Maan had agreed to this incident. After interrogation, the police presented Kajal in the court, from where she was sent to jail in judicial custody.
Went underground after the incident
Gangster Kapil Maan is lodged in Mandoli jail in Delhi. Before the murder of Suraj Maan on January 19, Kajal had gone to meet Kapil in jail. She had told Kapil about the planning. After the police tightened their grip, Kajal went underground. Kajal told that she was staying in a hotel in Hisar. When Kajal met Kapil for the first time, he told her that he was a sports person. He also told her that he was a gym trainer. After this, their friendship turned into love.
The accused has studied nursing
Kajal Khatri is originally from Rohini Sector-11 in Delhi. Kajal did her graduation from Hansraj College of Delhi University. After this, she studied nursing from a college while living in Hisar. Apart from this, she also prepared for SSC in Mukherjee Nagar. Also, she has also done a course in Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). In the year 2023, she lived in a flat in TDI City located in Sonipat Kondli.
Police were preparing to seize the property
ADCP said that non-bailable warrants were issued against five accused including Kajal Khatri, Shakti Maan, Sanjeet, Harjeet Maan, Sonu alias Vikas. Preparations were being made to confiscate their property.
So far action has been taken against 10 people
ADCP said that till now Noida Police has taken action against 10 people in this case. Three accused including the third shooter will be arrested soon. However, the police has not disclosed the name of the third shooter.
