You and Congress could not form an alliance!

Voting for the 90-member Haryana Assembly elections will be held on October 5 and the results will be declared on October 8. Political activities are in full swing before the elections and there is a stampede among political parties. Meanwhile, the hope of an alliance between the two parties who fought the Lok Sabha elections together in Haryana has now been shattered. Those two parties are Congress and Aam Aadmi Party. Several rounds of talks were held between the two but they remained inconclusive. Now, perhaps both the national parties will contest the Assembly elections separately in Haryana.

The talks and meetings between the two parties continued since last week and before the final result of the talks, Congress released the first list of 32 candidates and then released the second list of its nine candidates on Sunday. Even after that, talks regarding alliance continued between the two parties. Meanwhile, on Monday, Aam Aadmi Party also released its first list of 20 candidates. The hopes that were raised regarding alliance before the release of AAP’s list ended with the release of the list.

Because of this, there was no talk on the alliance

The reason behind not forming an alliance is that there was a dispute between Aam Aadmi Party and Congress regarding seats and there was no consensus between the two parties on seat sharing. Let us tell you that both the parties had formed an alliance in the Lok Sabha elections, Congress contested on nine seats and AAP on one seat. In the assembly elections, Aam Aadmi Party wanted to contest on at least 10 seats, but Congress was not ready to give more than three seats. According to the information, Aam Aadmi Party was demanding at least one seat in Kalayat and Kurukshetra seats.

Voices of protest were raised in Congress regarding the alliance

Former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda and Randeep Surjewala, both Congress leaders, were opposing the alliance. Both said that the atmosphere in Haryana is in favour of Congress at the moment. Along with this, the committee formed on the decision of alliance had also advised not to form an alliance in its report. At the same time, Congress leader Brijendra Singh also claimed that Congress is in a good position to form the government and today we are in a good position to form the government with a huge majority.

Leaders of both the parties said this

Regarding the alliance, Congress leader Deepak Babaria said that this alliance will be successful only when it decides the winning formula for both the parties. Meanwhile, Haryana AAP chief Sushil Gupta said that if Congress is unable to take any decision by evening, then they will release the full list of all 90 candidates. Sushil Gupta said that now very little time is left for the elections. We sincerely waited for the alliance. We showed our patience and after that, we released our list.

Congress and AAP have decided on the seats

Let us tell you that Aam Aadmi Party has fielded its Haryana unit vice-president Anurag Dhanda from Kalayat and Indu Sharma from Bhiwani, Vikas Nehra from Meham and Bijender Hooda from Rohtak. In the list of 20 candidates of AAP, there are 11 seats on which Congress has already fielded candidates. Let us tell you that Congress has already announced 41 candidates and has finalized the list of 49 candidates and sent it to the party leadership. It is clear from this that there is no agreement on alliance between AAP and Congress. However, both the parties have not issued any official statement regarding the alliance yet.

Nominations have to be filed by September 12

After the release of AAP’s first list, Congress MP Deepender Hooda said, “Even our list has been released… The issue is of 10 years of misrule of the BJP government. In 10 years, the BJP has taken the state of Haryana off the track of progress and development. Today Haryana is number one in unemployment, Haryana is number one in crime, today Haryana has overtaken Punjab in drug addiction. The last date for filing nominations in the state is September 12.

AAP-Congress announced to defeat BJP, BJP took a jibe

On the release of the first list of 20 candidates by Aam Aadmi Party, AAP MP Sanjay Singh said, “Nominations have to be made by the 12th, very little time is left and our priority is to remove the Bharatiya Janata Party. Today a list of 20 candidates has been released, I heartily congratulate all of them on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal and we are committed to fulfill the 5 guarantees. Aam Aadmi Party will fight the elections strongly in Haryana.”

Former Haryana Chief Minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda said, “Congress is coming, BJP is going in Haryana.” Then BJP leader Anil Vij quipped, “AAP-Congress wanted to contest the elections together by forming an alliance. AAP has given a ‘snob’ to Congress and has released its list.”
