Kolkata: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi has now entered West Bengal from Assam for the party’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra. Meanwhile, they are facing administrative hurdles in the state. Due to the possibility of major administrative hurdles in the state, some changes may be made in the program of the rally. Today as the rally led by Gandhi entered the Bengal region at Basirhat in Tufanganj subdivision of West Bengal’s Cooch Behar district, he was welcomed by senior Congress leaders, including state Congress president and five-time party Lok Sabha member Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury.

A senior Congress leader from the state said, ‘The district police has informed us that the Nyaya Yatra rally will enter Jalpaiguri city only after 2 pm on Sunday, as police recruitment exams will be held in the city that morning. Rahul Gandhi had to have lunch at the same place where he was to hold the rally.
