Sultanpur robbery case: After Mangesh, one lakh bounty Ajay Yadav also encountered, shot in the leg, arrested

Ajay Yadav has been arrested in a police encounter in the famous robbery case of a bullion trader in Sultanpur, UP. The accused had a bounty of Rs. 1 lakh on him. He has been shot in his leg. Earlier, the criminal Mangesh Yadav, who had a bounty of Rs. 1 lakh on his head, was killed by the STF.

The district police and STF team have arrested Ajay Yadav, a reward of one lakh, in the bullion merchant robbery case that took place on August 28 in Sultanpur. An encounter took place between the police and the criminal in Moili under Jaisinghpur police station of Sultanpur. Criminal Ajay Yadav alias DM, carrying a reward of one lakh, was caught in the half encounter. If the sources are to be believed, the criminal has been shot twice in his leg and has been brought to the hospital for treatment. Earlier, the STF had killed Mangesh Yadav, a reward of one lakh, from Jaunpur district.

An encounter took place in front of Shobhavati Inter College on the canal track of Peedhi-Bagiya Chauraha Road Bhevatari of Gram Sabha Moili of Jaisinghpur Kotwali area. The villagers woke up with the sound of bullets. Before the villagers could understand anything, the police took the captured criminal to Jaisinghpur Community Health Center. From where the doctor referred the criminal to Government Medical College Sultanpur.

The arrested criminal has been identified as Ajay Yadav alias DM, a resident of Larpur under Singramau police station of Jaunpur. Recently, a reward of one lakh was declared on him in a robbery case. According to the police, five cases are registered against the arrested criminal Ajay.

Earlier, the STF had killed Mangesh Yadav, a criminal from Jaunpur district with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh on his head, in a robbery case. According to STF CO DK Shahi, five kg silver and arms were recovered from him. Then on September 11, the SOG of Ayodhya district, Kotwali Nagar and SOG team of Sultanpur caught four criminals with a bounty of Rs 1 lakh each from Dubeypur turn. Out of these, 259 grams of gold was recovered from Durgesh Singh, 347 grams of gold from Vinay Shukla, 299 grams of gold from Arvind Yadav and 510 grams of gold from Vivek Singh. According to the police, one kg 218 grams of gold was recovered from the house of Vipin who was on remand. The mastermind of the same incident, Vipin Singh, surrendered in Raebareli on September 29.
