It is suspected that they died due to poisonous liquor bought from Adarsh Colony. On the other hand, the police and excise department woke up after the news of five deaths leaked on Thursday. Under the leadership of SSP Satpal Antil, a series of raids were conducted in Adarsh Colony with the force of several police stations. A large quantity of illegal liquor was recovered and action was taken to destroy the lahan (impurity).
There is an atmosphere of panic in Mirpur area due to the death of five people. Illegal liquor business has been running in Adarsh Colony for a long time. A large number of people living in Mirpur go to Adarsh Colony daily to drink liquor. It is being told that all the five deceased had bought and drank liquor together in Adarsh Colony. After this, everyone was vomiting.
The family members considered it a normal thing. When the condition worsened, everyone was taken to different hospitals. Where everyone died one by one. On Thursday also, raids were conducted with the help of magistrate and forces from many police stations. Every house in the colony was thoroughly searched. Instructions have been given to prepare dossiers of those making liquor illegally. Apart from this, a list of people involved in illegal activities is also being prepared. There is no information about the death of five people. The family members have also not given any information in this regard.
