A 23-year-old biker died in a tragic accident in Gurugram. This accident happened due to an SUV coming from the front, which was coming at a very high speed from the wrong side. Meanwhile, the young man’s bike collided with it and he was thrown and fell. He was immediately taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
This accident happened on Sunday night on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase 2. A young man named Akshat Garg died in this accident, even though he was wearing all the safety equipment. This entire accident was captured in the Go-Pro camera of Pradyuman, a friend of the deceased and an eyewitness of the incident. The video of which went viral very fast on social media.
Pradyuman, who is also the complainant in this case, accused the SUV driver of being negligent regarding the accident. He said that Akshat was going on his bike when he collided with a speeding Mahindra 3XO coming from the front. Immediately after the accident, the injured Akshat was taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved.
The deceased’s friend alleged that the spot was a high-speed lane where the accused Kuldeep Thakur was driving from the wrong direction. Pradyuman says that Kuldeep’s carelessness and high speed took the life of his friend Akshat.
Giving information on social media in this case, the police said that an FIR has been registered under the relevant sections of the BNS and the accused has been arrested as per the law. Also, the police said that Gurugram Police issued more than 16,000 challans for wrong side driving in August 2024, and strict action will continue. Gurugram Police urges all citizens to follow traffic rules.
