Rain alert in 10 districts

Whereas due to heavy rains in Chennai, waterlogging was seen in residential areas of Arumbakkam Amaravati Nagar. The Meteorological Department has predicted lightning along with rain in 10 districts of Tamil Nadu. In Himachal Pradesh itself, there was snowfall in the hill town of Sanjauli in Shimla.

Rain in these districts of UP

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, there are chances of light to moderate rain in many districts. While it rained in many districts on Monday, there is a possibility of rain in the eastern part of UP on Tuesday also. Whereas in western UP the weather may remain dry. There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at many places in eastern UP on 6 and 7 December. There is a possibility of rain in Prayagraj, Mirzapur, Varanasi, Chandauli and Sonbhadra on December 5. Due to rain, cold has also increased in UP. The lowest temperature of 13.0 degrees Celsius has been recorded in Moradabad. Similarly, minimum temperature was recorded at 13.4 degree Celsius in Meerut and 13.8 degree Celsius in Muzaffarnagar.
