He said that till the elections are held, someone else from the party will be the Chief Minister. There will be a meeting of MLAs in the next two-three days, in which the next CM will be decided. In such a situation, speculations about the names of two MLAs have intensified regarding who will become the new Chief Minister of Delhi. In fact, Kejriwal has also announced about Manish Sisodia along with himself, he said that both I and Manish Sisodia will not hold any post.

After Arvind Kejriwal’s resignation, speculations are rife about the names of Atishi Marlena and Saurabh Bhardwaj for the CM post. Actually, after Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia has the biggest stature in the party. But Kejriwal made it clear that Sisodia will also not become CM. In such a situation, political experts believe that Kejriwal will give the CM’s chair to someone trustworthy. It is worth noting that Atishi is handling the most departments in the Delhi government. Also, Kejriwal had sent Atishi’s name for hoisting the flag on 15 August. Along with Atishi, Saurabh Bhardwaj is also considered very close to Kejriwal. In such a situation, speculations are rife about his name as well.

However, Kejriwal said that there will be a meeting of MLAs regarding this in which it will be decided who will become the next CM.

What did Kejriwal say about the resignation?

Arvind Kejriwal, while announcing his resignation, said, “Today I have come to your court. I have come to the public’s court. I have come to ask you whether you consider Kejriwal honest or guilty? Two days from today, I am going to resign from the post of CM. I will not sit on the CM’s chair until the public gives its verdict. I will go among the public. And until the public gives its verdict that Kejriwal is honest, I will not sit on the CM’s chair.”
