1- The best way to roast makhana is to take a pan and keep it hot. Keep in mind that the pan should have a slightly heavy bottom. Now add makhana to it and also add some salt. Now fry the makhana while stirring on medium flame. In this way you can roast only dry makhana without oil and ghee.
2- If you have a microwave then makhana can be easily roasted in it. For this, spread the makhana in a microwave bowl or in any other glass or plastic vessel. Now place the makhana in the microwave and roast it for about 1 minute. After this, turn the Makhana and sprinkle half a spoon of ghee or oil on it. Sprinkle some salt along with this. Now roast the makhana again for 30-40 seconds. Cool and check if the makhana has become crunchy then take it out.
