11 players got place for the first time in BCCI annual contract, so many were left out – India TV Hindi

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the list of players’ central contracts for the year 2023-24. While many new and young players have got a place in this, some players have been shown the way out of the central contract. In the annual contract list released by BCCI, players have been given places in four different grades, which are A+, A, B and C. In this, players playing in all three formats have got a place in A+. This time, the name of Yashasvi Jaiswal is also included among the new players, who has been included in B grade in the central contract list. Among the players who have been discharged, the names of Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer and Ishan Kishan are prominently included.

These 11 players got place for the first time

Among the 11 players who have got a place for the first time in the annual contract list released by BCCI for the year 2023-24, Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in Grade B. Whereas in Grade C, Rinku Singh, Tilak Verma, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shivam Dubey, Ravi Bishnoi, Jitesh Sharma, Mukesh Kumar, Prasidh Krishna, Avesh Khan, Rajat Patidar have got the place. All these players have been seen playing in some format or the other in the last one year and have also contributed to the team’s victory.

These players including Cheteshwar Pujara did not get place

Last time when the list of Central Contract was released, Cheteshwar Pujara, Shreyas Iyer, Umesh Yadav, Shikhar Dhawan, Ishan Kishan, Deepak Hooda, Yuzvendra Chahal were shown the way out. The exclusion of Iyer and Ishaan from this is being considered a big blow for both these players. Let us tell you that according to the last contract of BCCI, the players included in A Plus grade get an annual payment of Rs 7 crore, whereas in A grade, Rs 5 crore, in B grade Rs 3 crore and in C grade get Rs 1 crore annually.
