India vs Bangladesh Test Series: BCCI has announced the squad for the first Test match against Bangladesh. The first match will be played on 19 September. Young and experienced players have got a chance in Team India. Team India played its last Test series against England and won 4-1. Many players who played in the series against England have been shown the way out.

Players who were dropped from the previous series

In the first Test against Bangladesh, those 8 players who played in the Test series against England have not got a chance in the Indian team. Shreyas Iyer, KS Bharat, Mukesh Kumar, Avesh Khan, Rajat Patidar, Washington Sundar, Devdutt Paddikkal and Saurabh Kumar were included in Team India last time. But this time they have been shown the way out of Team India. In the series against England, BCCI had announced the Test team squad twice. First time for the first two Test matches and second time for the last three Test matches.

Avesh Khan was made part of Team India’s squad for the first two Test matches against England. He was then released to play Ranji Trophy even before the first Test match started.

Yash Dayal has got a chance in the Indian Test team for the first time for the Test match against Bangladesh. Dayal is a part of the RCB team in the IPL. Virat Kohli did not play in the series against England. Now he has returned. Rishabh Pant has returned to the Indian Test team after 21 months. He was away from cricket due to a car accident.
