Akash Deep created a stir with just 2 balls

Akash Deep Bowling: When the new and emerging fast bowler Akashdeep got a place in Team India’s playing eleven for the first Test being played between India and Bangladesh, everyone was shocked. It was expected that India would enter the field with two pacers and three spinners, but captain Rohit Sharma had a different thinking. This was the reason for Akashdeep’s entry. Now Akashdeep has given a befitting reply to all those critics with his performance. Akashdeep created panic in the Bangladesh camp by taking two wickets in two back to back balls, while he put Team India in a strong position.

Bangladesh has had a poor start

After a few difficult sessions on the first day of the Chennai Test against Bangladesh, India has again established its dominance in the match. Thanks to Ravichandran Ashwin’s century and Ravindra Jadeja’s 86 runs, India recovered from a score of 144/6 in the first innings and scored 376 runs and then sent half of Bangladesh’s team to the pavilion due to the aggressive batting of Akashdeep, Jaspreet Bumrah and Mohammad Siraj. By the time Bangladesh lost five wickets, the team could not even add 50 runs.

Jasprit Bumrah gives India its first wicket

Jasprit Bumrah took the first wicket by dismissing Shadman Islam in the first over of the innings. Mohammad Siraj was not that effective at the other end with the new ball and that is why Rohit Sharma handed over the bowling reins to Akash Deep, which he immediately saw benefits from. Akashdeep, playing his second Test, took the wickets of Zakir Hasan and Mominul Haque on consecutive balls in his second over and put the visiting team in tension. Akashdeep’s ball bowled to Zakir was very good. The batsman was taking time to move forward to drive, when the stump got uprooted. Even after this, Akashdeep did not stop. On the very next ball, he uprooted Mominul’s off stump as well.

Bangladesh is facing the threat of Faluan

Half of Bangladesh’s team has returned to the pavilion, but they have not even completed 50 runs. Due to this, the team is also in danger of follow-on. However, Bangladesh still has a lot of batting and they can put up a good score in response, but if India’s pace battery and then spinners show their magic, then Bangladeshi team can soon be all out. Now it will be interesting to see how many more runs Bangladesh’s team can score with the remaining wickets. So far, India is seen on the front foot and Bangladesh is struggling to save this match.
