Another miracle of Yashasvi Jaiswal, now got a big ICC award

Yes, Jaiswal has been selected by ICC for the Player of the Month for February.

This time three players were nominated by ICC for Player of the Month. Apart from Yashasvi Jaiswal, there were Kane Williamson of New Zealand and Pathum Nissanka of Sri Lanka. But Jaiswal has left both of them behind and captured this award. ICC has said that Jaiswal’s statistics show that he can be the best opening batsman in the world. Jaiswal is the highest run-scorer in this cycle of the ICC World Test Championship. In the month of February, he scored two brilliant double centuries in two consecutive Test matches against England.

He scored 219 runs in the first innings of the Test against England in Visakhapatnam and then scored a double century in the second innings of the next Test played in Rajkot. Not only this, Jaiswal made many records in February and during his innings in Rajkot, he equaled the record of most sixes hit by Wasim Akram in a Test innings by hitting 12 in a Test innings.
Equaled Don Bradman and Vinod Kambli
Jaiswal equaled Sir Donald Bradman and India’s Vinod Kambli by scoring back-to-back double centuries at the age of 22 years and 49 days. Jaiswal scored a total of 560 runs with the help of 20 sixes in three Test matches in February. Along with this, in March he also managed to complete 1000 runs during his Test career.
