Glenn Maxwell played his last match on 15 January when he led the Melbourne Stars against the Hobart Hurricanes in a Big Bash League match in Melbourne.
Glenn Maxwell was not included in the 13-man squad to face West Indies in the 3-match ODI series on 2 and 6 February. Cricket Australia said on Monday that they are managing Glenn Maxwell’s workload by giving him a break from the ODI series. However, they are expected to face West Indies in the T20 series starting on February 9. Pat Cummins, Mitch Marsh, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood have also been rested from the ODI series.
Maxwell troubled by injury
