Australia has taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series by winning the second match of the 3-match ODI series being played at home against West Indies by 83 runs. In the second ODI match of the series played at the Sydney Cricket Ground, the West Indies team had decided to bowl first after winning the toss. After this, their bowlers performed brilliantly and restricted the Australian team to a score of 258 in 50 overs. Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott showed amazing skills with the ball.

The West Indies team, which came to chase the target of 259 runs, did not have a good start at all in this match and after losing their first wicket at the score of 19, they lost 3 wickets till the score of 34. From here, captain Sai Hope and Casey Carty tried to control the innings and took the score to 87 runs but this partnership was broken by Hazlewood when he bowled out Hope on a personal score of 29 and sent him to the pavilion. From here, the Kangaroo team did not give any chance to West Indies to make a comeback in the match and kept taking wickets at regular intervals. West Indies’ innings was all out after scoring 175 runs in 43.3 overs. While in Australia’s bowling, Josh Hazlewood and Sean Abbott took 3-3 wickets, Will Sutherland took 2 wickets while Aaron Hardy and Adam Zampa took 1-1 wicket.
