Bangladesh team had scored 310 runs in the first innings against New Zealand. For Bangladesh, Mahmudul Hasan scored 86 runs and Nazmul Hasan Shanto scored 37 runs. Whereas New Zealand scored 317 runs in the first innings. In this way the New Zealand team got a lead of 7 runs on the basis of first innings. Kane Williamson scored an excellent century for New Zealand. It was because of him that the Kiwi team was able to achieve a big lead.
