IND vs SA: The first match of the two-match Test series between India and South Africa is to be played from December 26. Before this match, South African players have worked hard in the nets. After returning Kagiso Rabada and Lungi Ngidi started net practice, South Africa head coach Shukri Conrad expressed hope that India will fail to win the final frontier of their Test campaign. Rabada was rested during the T20 and ODI series against India due to a heel injury. Ngidi was ruled out of the T20 International due to a left ankle injury.
Two deadly bowlers entered the team
Rabada and Ngidi were practicing vigorously in the team’s net session at the SuperSport Park ground here on Saturday afternoon. Where he was facing experienced batsman Dean Elgar. On the return of both, team coach Conrad said that their main fast bowlers will be fresh and will bowl with full strength. Both the experienced bowlers will enter this match without any match practice but the coach is not too worried about it. He said that it would have been good if he had got a chance to play in domestic matches but this is life. Everyone has to find a way. I am not worried that they will play against India without match practice.
The coach has full hope
The coach said that Rabada and Lungi are in the 15-member squad and are available for selection. We will take a decision regarding the selection tomorrow. Hopefully, tomorrow morning we will have the full team of 15 people for selection. This is the first time that Team India is playing only a two-Test series against South Africa. He said that we definitely want to maintain that glorious record and ensure that India does not succeed in winning. Conrad further said that this is the biggest series of this year for South Africa. India has made it the final frontier but we will give our best to ensure that they do not succeed.
