Chennai Super Kings after winning IPL 2023

Actually, the schedule for the general elections to be held in India this year has not been released yet. However, reports have revealed that the first match of the tournament can be played on March 22. However, no official announcement has been made by IPL and BCCI regarding this issue.
IPL can start on this day
According to Cricbuzz report, the Indian Premier League is scheduled to start from March 22. According to previous media reports the tournament was almost set to start on March 22 and several officials have now said that it will start on the same day. Quoting IPL Chairman Arun Dhumal, Cricbuzz said that the tournament will start on March 22 in Chennai. The tournament will start at the home ground of Chennai Super Kings and there will be an opening ceremony before the start of the tournament. However, no disclosure has been made regarding which team CSK will play its first match against. Regarding the second team, Dhumal said that it has not been finalized yet. CSK CEO Kasi Vishwanathan also said that he has no information about the opponents yet.
IPL will announce the schedule of the tournament in the coming days. The full schedule of the tournament will be revealed after the dates of the general elections are confirmed by the Election Commission of India. Dhumal said that the IPL organization will announce the schedule for the first 10-12 days now. He said that initially we will announce the program for the first 10-12 days. Also, according to the same report, the tournament may include more than just 10 venues. The ECI will likely announce the election dates between the second and third week of March, after which the IPL can confirm the full schedule. Dhumal is confident that the tournament will be held in India only.
CSK fans wait
This will be the 17th season of the tournament and Chennai Super Kings is the current champion of the title. They are now tied with Mumbai Indians with five IPL titles and both will be looking to add more titles to their trophy cabinet. While CSK will be captained by their captain cool MS Dhoni, MI will see a change in captaincy with Hardik Pandya replacing Rohit Sharma. He has been traded by the MI franchise this year.
