The gap of five days is also necessary because IPL will be held in India and players from all over the world will be playing in it. Women’s Premier League likely to be held from February 22 to March 17
It is said that BCCI is planning that the Women’s Premier League can start from 22nd February and continue till 17th March. All the WPL matches are likely to be held in Bengaluru and Delhi. Cricbuzz report says that WPL dates will be announced within one to two days. In view of the Lok Sabha elections, BCCI is trying to organize the next season of IPL in the window from March 22 to May 26. But it is believed that the dates will be announced only after the dates of Lok Sabha elections. BCCI is trying to conduct the entire season of IPL in India even after the Lok Sabha elections.
Some players may leave early due to T20 World Cup 2024
