The fourth match of the 5-match Test series being played between India and England is being played on the Ranchi ground. In the third day’s play of this match, the first innings of the Indian team was limited to 307 runs, in which a brilliant inning of 90 runs was seen from the bat of wicketkeeper batsman Dhruv Jurel, who was playing only the second match of his Test career. When Jurel completed his fifty, he expressed his happiness by saluting. The reason behind his style of celebration is Jurel’s father, who was in the Indian Army and retired as a Havildar. Dhruv Jurel’s father’s name is Nam Singh who was also a part of Kargil War. Jurel also hit 6 fours and 4 sixes in his innings of 90 runs.

Important partnership of 76 runs with Kuldeep

When the Indian team had lost its 7 wickets till the score of 177 in this test match during the second day’s play, from there Dhruv Jurel got the support of Kuldeep Yadav, in which there was a partnership of 76 runs between the two for the 8th wicket. Due to which Team India was successful in making a comeback in this match. After this, Jurel also made a partnership of 40 runs with Akash Deep for the 9th wicket and took the score beyond 300 in the first innings. Apart from Jurel, the Indian team got a half-century in this innings from the bat of Yashasvi Jaiswal.
